A group of construction professionals in safety gear on a building site. There are three individuals wearing high-visibility vests and safety helmets, listening to a fourth person, who is gesturing and speaking. In the background, there's a partially constructed building with scaffolding and a completed apartment block. The scene conveys a sense of collaboration and discussion, likely about the ongoing construction project.

For developers and housing operators

Start building and operating housing sooner.

BC Builds can connect non-profit, First Nations, and private developers to available and zoned sites in the communities where you want to build and operate rental housing.

By connecting you with lands that are already zoned for housing, and by accelerating any remaining municipal and provincial approvals, we can help get you building and operating housing sooner.

BC Builds moves projects from concept to construction in 12-18 months, rather than the typical three-to-five years it can take today. This acceleration is accomplished by streamlining development processes and by the BC Builds team working collaboratively with landowners, municipalities, and residential developers to work through and remove any barriers.

A residential street scene with modern houses on one side and a lush green forest in the background. The sky is partly cloudy, suggesting early summer weather. There is an empty, undeveloped lot in the foreground, with patches of grass and a large log lying across it. The houses have a contemporary design with dark and neutral colors, and the neighborhood appears quiet and newly developed.
